Ingredients:
Prawns 500 gms (peeled and cleaned)
Onions 3
(finely chopped)Green chillies 6
Tomatoes 2
Coriander leaves 1 bunch (finely chopped)
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Turmeric a pinch
Salt according to taste
Ginger-Garlic paste 2-3 tsps
Garam masala 6 cardamom, 5 cloves, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder
(powder all the garam masala)
Preparation:
- Wash the prawns with salt and pinch of turmeric, drain the water completely.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add prawns and cook for 10 min on medium flame till the water evaporates. Do not place the lid during this process.
- Add finely chopped onions and green chillies and fry till the onions turn translucent.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, ginger garlic paste and garam masala powder. Place the lid and cook for 5 mins till the masala is absorbed by the prawns.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are done.
- Turn off the flame and add finely chopped coriander.
